Good old soap and water does wonders. No need to steam clean as the watch and bracelet are always clean.

I let my AD take my watch to the back twice...

The second time it returned with a fairly deep scratch that I am pretty sure wasn't there before. I didn't want to throw a fit over a scratch on a watch that I wore daily, but I made sure to never let the AD take my watch to the back again.
