Curious, How many Pledge Members...

Now, compared to this time last year?

I think people here are realizing that we have a great forum and want to be involved. I also think that none of us want to see the forum attacked again and don't mind supporting it to keep it going.

I also think we have more members who want to be involved! Maybe I am just being altruistic, but it seems to me that the members of TRF are stepping up!!!!

I love this forum, thanks Admin and Mods!!!

I also think a lot of members don't want to miss anymore cool giveaways :)

I agree

I am on TZ, the Vintage Rolex Forums, Turf, and TRF and by far TRF is my forum of choice. I for one decided it was time to support it due to all the great information I get here and the quality of the members! I'd encourage everyone who can to support TRF this year!

I've been a pledge member since you could be a pledge member. Steve shouldn't work for free.

I am relatively new having joined this past October only a few day prior to the sign up for the last drawing. I made a 2009 pledge shortly after. The drawing is not what committed me to Pledge. This is one great forum with opportunities to develop friendships world-wide with like minded quality people. I have learned more about watches in a few months than I did in two years of lurking from forum to forum. Hopefully I can give back as much as I've gained. Thanks TRF!!!!

To the best of my memory, the very first pledge member was a guy who had a Lear Jet as his avatar. He got this little title under his name that none of us had seen before...it said "Pledge Member".

He gave a little to Steve to help offset the costs of running TRF. A few of us inquired what a "Pledge Member" was....and the rest is history.

I get so much out of this forum that I plan to pledge each year. Hopefully the funds can go to the hacker protection fund as well as more enjoyable refinements.

This forum has improved my knowledge exponentially, it's great to be able to spout facts that even my boss (who's been selling Rolexes for around 30 years now) doesn't know. It's only fair that I give something back, and ensure this wonderful community and resource continues

In a nutshell, the site was hit with an extended denial of service attack from a group of scumbag counterfeiters - meant the site went down for quite a long period of time. But we don't give up here on TRF, and the extra money from the pledges this year should help with the fight

I have only been a member since July 2009, and this is my second time pledging already.

Yeah, I think I like this place

I am almost sure that even with the pledge, he does not make a penny!

A pledge of $20 for 2010 gets you the purple and if you pledge again for $28.00, you get a 150 message capacity and are entered into a drawing for a new Ceramic GMT!

Amazing how far TRF has come in the last 3 years.

It was the loneliest weekend of my life!

I found myself staring at the monitor and questioning why life was still worth living.

I tried talking to the mailman about how cool my watches are, but all he said was "are they real?"

When I read all these responses and the positive goodwill they exhibit, it is a pleasure to be able to be a small part of what goes on here.

Thanks everyone for their incredible support. I will endeavour to make this the best place on the internet there can be.
