Good review & photos of the SD43

My apologies if this has been posted before. I hadn't seen this review before today. Nice in-depth review with some good pictures of the 126600 new Sea-Dweller

Nice, I am definitely looking forward to getting one on my wrist to decide. I wonder how this one would look with a matte ceramic bezel.

Still don't understand why they decided to turn it into a sub.

Happy to see that the bracelet increased in proportion as well. Looking forward to my collection when it comes in.

There is one definite improvement over the 116600 - the hour hand is finally thick enough.

a diet coke says Bamford mods this into two watches. one SD w/o the cyclops and one with a Submariner dial; both become instant classics + $5k each.

Wow, just checked this out on my desktop for the first time. I had no idea those pictures I posted were the sizes of billboards. Sorry about that.

The more I see this watch the more I have to have it. Cannot wait for this to get out in the wild. I must have one...

Hmmm .... Looks like there's a little red ink missing from the hyphen in "Sea-Dweller." Hopefully, that's just a prototype watch and not an indication of quality control on this new model.

Also, has it been confirmed definitively that the cyclops can be removed like on earlier sapphire-crystal models?

Just the lighting/reflection, I think.

It's a shame, now there even fewer options to get a Rolex sports watch without the dreaded cyclops.

The new 43 and SS Sky-D are on my list to buy, thanks for the photo, you just further my belief to get the 43.
