I have been looking into Saddleback lately. Good to know they are recommended. Their products look incredible.

I’ve been wearing the YM Blue lately. Goyard is the best quality out of this group. IMG_2079.jpg

I have read this thread and I became interested in a Faure Le Page wallet and card holder. I emailed for a catalog as was suggested earlier and was told that there is no catalog available. I thought I would post the response I received to share the information with any other interested forum members:

i would like to thank you for your interest in our House Fauré Le Page and I hope this email finds you well

Currently we don t have catalogue but if you want let me give you my whatsapp number in fact it will be easier to communicate and send to you pictures about wallets and card holders collection: +33675715811

Best regards

Erwin

So my current wallet is a 5 year old Saddleback medium bifold leather wallet. It comes with a 100-year warranty and currently looks great, just barely broken in. I love it and thought it would be my last wallet.

Then I found this thread.

Friday I visited the Goyard store in Beverly Hills. It was my first time ever seeing a Goyard in person. I absolutely loved the fabric. They had 3 different wallets:

St Marc for $670
St. Pierre for $830
Victoir for $1055
(All prices plus sales tax)

Then this AM Erwin sent me beautiful, hi resolution pics of the Faure Le Paige 6CC Etendard wallet in Paris Blue and Empire Green. Even though I had seen many pics of these wallets posted on the forum, the hi Res pics were much clearer and more detailed. The price is 360E minus 16.67 percent tax plus 50E shipped Chronopost or 59E Fedex. The total shipped is around $400 USD.

I have learned a lot and had a great time visiting the Goyard store on Rodeo Drive as well as corresponding with a S.A. in Paris. Now the problem is I can't make up my mind. But this is a luxury, not a necessity so I have all the time I desire to think it over.

I will update when I come to any conclusion. Thanks to the earlier posters for sharing information and inspiring desire.

This was not the content I was expecting when I clicked this thread. But what a pleasant surprise. It's time for me to pick up a new wallet. Thanks for the inspiration, y'all.

Opinions on Bottega Veneta wallet quality? I like the new two tone ones. Deciding between replacing my lost Goyard or going with something new.

Did you come to a decision? I’m stuck in between these two brands as well.....

Montblanc is the best made wallet I’ve ever owned. Ages well and doesn’t fall apart after being overfilled for a few years.

I’ve got a MB wallet & CC holder that I’ve had for years and both still going strong.

I have both and although quality of either isn’t anything to write home about, Goyard is better quality in my experience

Screwly,

Thanks for asking. I have not made a decision yet. I am still looking at lots of pictures and thinking about it.

I am definitely leaning towards Goyard. I got to see and feel them at the AD in Beverly Hills. They have the special painted material that has 3D texture and has a feel that is unique and unmatched.

The Faure Le Page is a better deal and extremely beautiful but ultimately is merely fabric with just one panel of actual leather.

Thanks to any others who can share their thoughts and opinions.

I have a card case from FLP and 2 from Goyard. The FLP one lost its shape because as you said it’s just fabric. The Goyard print wears off but ultimately it holds up well.

Great feedback since I don’t have access to them in Houston. Thanks for that!

Nice thread! My LV Epi has held up well over the last several years but looking to add a wallet.

For those of you with Hermes wallets, how have they held up over the years?

I sent Goyard an email, someone from the Miami boutique responded but stated that he couldn't provide close-up pics of the products
