pm no date submariner
What would you think if Rolex released a pm “no date” sub?

If they did 1000 with a time stamp and produced no more, they’d be worth a fortune. But Rolex doesn’t work that way.

Never been a fan of ND subs so I wouldnt care.
Now, if they created a the green YG sub that would be different. Might add that to my YG Bluesy |

I don’t know if you’re speculating or if you heard something but I have a really good feeling that it’s coming as well. That will look so much better than the Hulk and if the Hulk is discontinued all of those owners will be ecstatic. I personally can’t wait until they discontinue it. I’m all for the green and still pretty salty I haven’t received a Hulk yet lol... but I just feel this would be too many options for the PM subs! Having a blue dial, black dial, and then green dial just seems like too many options for one model in my opinion! Also feel it will take something away from the green Daytona... If they release the Green dial sub in YG - they will 100% discontinue the blue dial
There will not be 2 color options in full YG I dont think other than black which is always a staple in any model. |

I could be wrong, but outside of the Daytona line up, I don’t know that Rolex produces any PM watches without the date?
I suspect you could throw Cellini in there as well as a line that doesn’t. |

The 116618LB? Not a chance. That’s been a staple of the Rolex lineup for far to long to pull it now. The WG blue dial, maybe. In which case I’m hoping mine increases in value enough that I can swap it for a YG green dial. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Maybe but I think it would be shoulder shrug for a lot of collectors. Nice but just ok.

I'd die if a ND PM sub were released, especially in green.

In my opinion, the no-date Sub is a down and dirty workhorse tool watch. Offering one in PM would completely defeat the purpose. If PM is needed, there are other subs that will do the trick.

Blue dials are a staple for PM models. I don't think the 116618LB is going to transform into green. Blue is a far more popular and pleasing color. Green is a niche color.

I don't see a green dial PM watch coming to the sub. That would take away from the appeal of the Daytona. The subs special dial is smurf blue. Rose gold is for GMTs and the special dial is the PM meteorite. We'll all find out September 1st. Its fun speculating though.

Gold sub is the YM. Also comes in two-tone as well. Alas, they do have date tho.

Frankly, I really like the idea of a gold ND sub. In fact, I have wondered why they weren't made - they must use the same case as the regular gold sub.
It would be an expensive, oddball, low volume seller, but then aren't there a lot of those in the Rolex lineup? |
