Trust me I've certainly put the watch through its paces and traveled all over the world with it...

its rugged but scarred here and there....so i've definitely popped that cherry !

but i've also been very careful with it too, whenever i can

Congrats, I love it! I also got my first Rolex in August 2000. It was a used 14060, I got it on 47th Street for $2,200. I wore it everywhere for 18 years until I gave it to my little brother. But I digress...

Love the explorer ii. Looks to be in great shape for a 20 year old watch. Continue to enjoy it!

Purchased from AD back in 2000, Explorer II - 16570 A Serial - holes case. After all these years and life events it's still in very good condition, sharp, and clean.

My collection has evolved over time and I have amassed more watches than I ever could have imagined. Although my more recent watches now take up most of my wrist time these days... you never forget your “first”

Now, i think i might need a 20th anniversary watch purchase to celebrate LOL!

Congrats.. Great watch and great to see it still being it part of your collection after 20 years!

I have A-serial 16750 Black dial as well but I got it 5 years back as pre-owned watch. Love the watch and very comfortable!

Happy 20th! It looks almost brand new, you kept it in good shape. If I was you I will never trade it for another watch. It was your first and will always be. Awesome :)

Thanks!

I try to be careful with but no more than any of my other watches. I do wear it and put it through its paces in all kinds of situations.

I think I've had the benefit of having other watches to rotate so that has limited its day to day wear. In 20 years it has been cleaned and serviced once - so that helps

Agreed. Never trading or selling.
