Incoming 5711

I love everything about watches...learning about them, finding them, winding/setting them, of course wearing them,...and believe it or not...even waiting for them. After a couple of years I have received my first Nautilus...and what a beauty.

When I got it home a few things made me laugh...

1) my lack of ability to work the clasp
2) my joy of looping the watch up close for a silly amount of time
3) taking way more pictures of it than is rational

We live in crazy times..I consider myself lucky and fortunate in many ways...I'm adding one more reason...being able to enjoy my new watch.

cheers to our fun hobby, the joy of pursuit, and the pleasure of wearing a beautiful time piece that makes you happy.

The first lesson of owning a Nautilus is the correct application of force necessary to open the clasp. After a while you marvel that it can stay closed despite the large amount of force needed to open it.

You seem so very appreciative and genuinely happy, and that puts a smile on everyone’s face I’m sure.

Enjoy and wear in good health! Looking forward to more shots as well!

Congrats!!
I had trouble with opening the clasp too when I first got my nautilus. Lol
Flipped the clasp around so it opens from the other side

Very nicely done. Happy that you seem genuinely pleased with the watch after all the anticipation! That's the way it should be.

I've learned from opening clasps on my Nautilus is...to not use the clasp.

I always reach under and undo each side of the butterfly under the bracelet by just putting away from the wrist.....the 5740/Aquanaut clasp release button is the easiest for sure.
