Turn o graph

Does the modern turnograph bezel click when turned or just plain friction with no clicks

No clicks. Unlike the diver bezels I think this one is bidirectional.

Correct, on the 116264 it is bi-directional

The T-O-G bezel doesn't click like the sub or GMT; it's just friction.

Bi-directional, friction only - no clicks. Great watch, just not a dive watch.

I really like the style of this watch. Wish it was available I larger diameter as 36mm is too small for my wrist and personal taste.

No clicks. Bi directional. Great watch to round out a collection with larger dial watches.

No clicks & bi-directional. Adds a new dimesion to the datejust and I would happily use for a scuba dive.

It is very smooth and doesn't make any clicks.

The 5 digit turn-o-graph (16264) bezel is also smooth friction but has a different look if you're not into fluted bezels

Does the turn-o-graph have a roulette date or are all numbers in red?

Mine, like Will's, has an all red numbers date wheel. The red date wheel, red "TURN-O-GRAPH" on the dial, and the red second hand add color to an otherwise monochrome watch.

Flat black paint (can be found at your local hobby store), a very small brush (00), and a steady hand :)

The bezel numbers are debossed (recessed from the surface), so you can be a little sloppy and then use a clean cotton rag cut from an old t-shirt wrapped around a popsicle stick and a little paint thinner on the rag to clean up the margins before the paint dries.

It should click, so you don't burn your steaks.
