I love the 1675 bi colour and 16753 'radial' nipple dials too they are great.... I personally don't favour the full Steel Mk3 'Radial Dial' of a pepsi 1675. I'm told that this was an attempt to ape the radial nipple of the steel and gold versions and the chapter ring gilt 1675 steel versions, which by dint of the chapter ring running around the outside, forced the application of HR markers inwards a bit while having something going on on the outer dial. My source, Ex-Rolex Geneva (aiding me on PhD), says that '...the dial was reverted back to tritium markers at the outer edge in the next mk 4 and 5 etc iterations, as the product design team thought it looked unbalanced - unlike the 'balanced' Chapter ring and Bi-colour nipple versions'. The radial of course (perhaps ironically) commands a premium for any matte dial though ! ps A little fun snippet. He also said term radial was not used - they used the term 'in-bound' hr markers at the time.
