Rolex GMT 16700 GMT hand position
Had a question on my Rolex GMT 16700 it was serviced a couple years ago I don't really know how to use the GMT function very well and wondered if my hands are in the proper factory settings meaning positions. If it's 12 o'clock in the afternoon what position should the GMT hand be pointing at

On mine at Midday the GMT hand would normally be at the 6 o'clock position, ie pointing downwards to the 12 on the GMT bezel.
Midnight would see all hands pointing to the top. If you were travelling then you could move the GMT bezel to the second time zone you were travelling to so you do not actually move the original hands, then read the hour hand from where it points to the Bezel as a 24 hour clock position. Hope this helps a bit, I cant seem to explain it any better.
