I have no concrete knowledge, but, if you can fit a black sub bezel insert in an LV, why not the Pepsi?
Unless the black/pepsi/coke GMT bezel inserts are different from the the black sub/black sub for LV bezel inserts? |

Don't think GMT and Sub inserts are interchangeable.

If you could do that, then you should be able to put a pepsi ring onto it! |

As far as I am aware the black ring is off a sub date/no date so can be interchanged. The pepsi is off a GMT and the bezels are different. I am sure somebody with more knowledge will be along to tell you.

It will not fit GMT slightly narrower than the sub and cannot see any reason to do it.One is a simple time lapse insert for timing underwater, the other for setting different times zones. And as the sub has only two main hands no third hand for second time zone it will totally useless.

My pepsi's insert is visibly narrower than my LV's, so no can do.
GMT inserts are interchangeable within series, ie plexi models 1675 and 16750, and sapphire models 16700/16760/ 16710 are interchangeable. Sub inserts are interchangeable, but will not fit the slightly smaller 16600. Learned this the hard way when I tried putting my LV insert on my SD. Hope this saves folks a lot of trouble.

Yes... You can put a 16710 GMT insert in a 16610 Sub Date..
they are both the same size... (You cannot use a 5513 or 14060, or SD, they are all different) http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=49732

Why would you want to do it though ? You can't read the second time zone function from the GMT bezel without having a 3rd hand.

That's true - but I always ask not if something can be done but ought it to be done

As for putting a Pepsi bezel on a sub... WHY???? Even if you could? There is no 24 hour hand or function in a 3135 movement. Would you put four Mickey Thompson Off-Road Tires on a Corvette? NO Essentially, in my opinion, that is what you are attempting to do.
