The flake hour hand helps differentiate it from the minute hand underwater. A true tool, purpose built watch. Get one in blue and it can stand on its on with a Rolex. Somebody likes them because mine has doubled in value since I bought it 4 years ago.

The geek in me demands form follow function.

Anyone who thinks this design is any less iconic than the Rolex sub, well, should just get a Rolex.

Like another poster said above: I've never seen another Tudor in the wild; however I have seen several Rolex subs.

Yup, do like them on the Tudors. Don't think I'd care for them if they started to appear on Rolex models; the mercedes hands fit them best IMO

Personally I like the snowflake hands. They are different, quirky, and I actually think its works really well with the watch. The BB just wouldn't be the same without the snowflake!

love the snowflake hands - trademark of Tudor and great way to differentiate the Tudor brand and Rolex brand. Its unique and it also provides larger surface area for lume. I think snowflake hands are also sportier than the mercedes, so it matches the vibe of the Tudor watches. However, that being said, I think the mercedes hands are great and thats why I have several subs :)

I think it would look better with sword hands.

Love them. I have wanted a blue Tudor sub for more than a decade but now prices have gotten out of control. If there is ever a correction in pricing, I'll strongly consider jumping on one.

Love the hands...but I consider the round plots a major fail here. They should be square!

Funny, regarding the plots I really like the round ones better. Different strokes I guess. Not as fond of the square ones either.

Anyone find the BB hour hand too long? I find the length of the Pelagos hour hand to be better balanced with the rest of the dial.

Snowflake is to Tudor like the Mercedes hands are to the Sub. It's the iconic thing that makes it so unique to itself. I love the snowflake hands on my blackbay, it wouldn't look right with Merc hands!
