Hi
I have 005 and and have OEM black alligator strap and ordered OEM JV strap When I saw the JV strap in AD, it is nice but it is far too thin compare with the black alligator .Am I right ? What do think OEM dark blue alligator for 005 ? It seems not many talk about dark blue alligator. Is it nice ? Pictures will help. Thanks a lot |

Might be an older JV. Newer ones are padded more.

Slight tangent, I loved my JV for the first week, absolutely gorgeous, but it's picked up every bit of moisture, dirt and sweat possible and I have been so disappointed by its longevity as a result. Just my opinion but I think the JV is style over substance and practicality.

I think what you are referring to is the "patina" that JV owners rave about. Myself, I like the patina'd look of the JV, but, the "new JV" look kept me from picking one up. |
