Bergeon 7825 Tweezers or Bergeon 6825-PF Pliers?

Hello All,

I have searched our forum extensively however would like to get more opinions on which tool to spring for in removal of Rolex bracelets.

I currently have 7 "modern" Rolexes and want an easy way to go back and forth with my Everest straps and swap bracelets (Sub to GMT, OP to Explorer, etc....)

My 2 options are:

Bergeon 7825 Tweezers
Bergeon 6825-PF Pliers

If anyone has a convincing argument to make for the 6767-F or 6111 please do so! With the amount of watches I own I don't mind the premium for the easier option but if there those that do feel it is a waste of money comments are welcome!

Had both and the 7825 are by far better, thinner so do not require filling for your models and the way it pinches the springbar is more secure.

I just received my new 6825-PF springbar removal tool from Ofrei last week. Im disappointed that the tool doesn't fit in the space to get to rhe springbars on my 116610. They assure me that they shipped the right equipment. I would recommend the 6111 instead, which is what I've been using for a while now.

Hi, I also purchased a new 6825-PF springbar removal tool from Ofrei and it didn't fit either my Submariner-116610Ln or GMT-II (1167BLNR). Despite some websites (https://www.minus4plus6.com/maintenance.php , for example) claiming that the narrower pins fit they simply don't without filling them down (which I didn't want to do). It's strange, Otto Frei don't claim that they will fit Rolex but they still sell them to people who ask for a Rolex tool, perhaps they fit older bands?

I'm walked in to the actual store and was about to pay for the 6825-PF when I decided to try them on the deepsea I had on at that time - they didn't fit and I didn't end up taking it.

An FYI that these do not fit the DSSD too.

I wonder which models they are used for then? I thought they would fit on the subs and the dssd was an outlier.

7825 tweezers are the way to go. They're a little pricey but they are the same as the Rolex 3200 tweezers.

No comparison really...the tweezers are superior. Then again, the tweezers are way more $$.

I use the 3200, not sure if you can buy them anywhere but if not go for the 7825.

They told me they are out of stock and in a week it will be shipped. Went for this option after searching a lot and is a little bit difficult to find.
