New Incoming: Max, Bill, Bob, John....
I've been a keen admirer of these for quite some time now and I finally got round to adding one to my collection. The Max Bill Chronoscope by Junghans is a somewhat different watch, its designer a Bauhaus student, its clear to see where its inspiration comes from. This one comes with a 40mm white dial which is clinically clean, and incredible eligible. It wears quite a bit bigger than its size suggests due to the almost non-existent bezel. The case shape is slightly strange, UFO like in fact due to the domed crystal and case back and it sits higher on the wrist as a result. I'd be lying if I were to suggest it was the most comfortable watch to wear. Inside, the calibre J880.2 runs an ETA 7750, a well proven chrono movement and the accuracy reflects it. Completing the watch is a stainless steel mesh strap and buckle that hugs the wrist quite nicely and is fully adjustable to get that perfect fit. All in all it's arrival was well worth the wait, and i'm mightily chuffed with it.

Very interesting look. Junghans has a few pieces I've considered picking up, and they are at a great price point.

Congrats! It's such a underrated watch. The dial is beautiful in person, ranging from white to silver and sparkling white/silver in between. And don't forget the domed crystal which tops it off.
I own a regular max bill 34mm myself. So I'm a big fan. |

Thanks all, i've been wearing this all week and it hasn't failed to bring a smile to my face.
Yes that's it exactly, the dial is stunning and love the different looks it can take with different light. |
