The Wynns stuff ages so well if kept properly. I have had a few bottles of the 1991 Centenary Shiraz Cabernet and it still had years left.

It was very nice. My wife and I loved it. There was a balanced amount of dark fruit, cherry in particular. Extremely enjoyable.

Another lower alcohol (13%) wine last night. A New Zealand Merlot by 'Giesen'.
Negligible bouquet even an hour after opening (they say "generous aromas of dark berry fruit...") with a well balanced soft plum and blackcurrent palate. A competent quaffer.

Haven't been drinking too much wine since the mrs is preggo, but we're down the beach so brought this one out to a local byob.
Picked up a few of them a couple months ago. Enjoyed it

It's MOST DEFINITELY still a young wine I must agree ...but dang it's good!!! (And it just happens to be the vintage I have the most of. Lol -- so was the obvious choice)

Margaux is probably my most favorite Bordeaux -- so well balanced from start to finish.

Hope you gents have a great weekend!!!

Cheers!!!

I agree Margaux is the most approachable especially on the young side but cost vs. quality, it's the mack-daddy... JMHO

I love my wife. After one nice bottle of wine it took almost no effort to talk her into a Three Some.

That is some good stuff there. Enjoy!

Bought some on our last wine tasting trip. Bought a few bottles and a candle...

Yeah, they are very unpretentious and make some nice blends. My wife loves candles. I'll have to see if they sell them online.

Hahahahhaha!!!!!

Of COURSE I don't hate her!!! When she's gone I just tend to get into the 'I wanna taste mood' lol --- haven't had one of these since release -- and Parker goes on and on about the boldness, complexity and flavors...so time to see!!! Had an '05 in my hand too and went with this one!!!

(But I'll make it up to her...I'm sure!! Lol🤣)
---and I'd never drink the last bottle of anything without her

Cheers my friend!!
