Nice, we need a food shot!

I was going to say a classic kettle grill from them. I have had mine now for about 5 years, just used it last weekend 10/10; however you said no charcoal or wood so you lost me.

indeed they are. And holding up nicely after a very busy grilling season (which never really ends for me lol)

Very satisfied with this model but I believe that most of the new Genesis series comes with an open lower section, sans sides and matching doors. Personal preference there, I like having the bottom enclosed but many prefer the open style. Load the Weber app, lots of information there.

How are those stainless steel grates holding up? I've wondered if they're better than cast iron grates?

One of each

The Weber charcoal kettle has a gas starter....is that cheating?

Other than getting dirty there’s no difference than when they were brand new.

Been making cheeseburgers. We got this over the winter. We are a small family. Only model still made in the US. All the other series have gone overseas. And hear they rust like crazy. We live in the ocean and get lots of salt.

We finally got changed our grill. Long overdue. Had a Weber, about 8 years old and took a beating. Loved it but it was in rough shape (forgot to cover it a few occasions and with rain etc it aged poorly).

Just got this grill last month. Permasteel brand from Lowes. Fantastic price, huge and works great. Have a small CharBroiler smoker on our downstairs deck, very happy with this combo. Thought about upgrading that to Big Green Egg L or XL but don’t think we use it enough to justify that and we like the CB a lot.

Learned the hard way to be OCD with covering the grill when not in use.

Very nice I just picked up the same thing but the 640. So far I’m happy with it. My first foray into gas grilling so was a bit boring but the results are perfect every time and I think that’s a trade worth making.

That was my first time doing chicken and I kind of screwed it up. I got too big of chickens so they took much longer than I thought and the skin was too chewy. Meat was great though.
Ribs are something I’ve done a bunch. Hopefully this goes a bit smoother today!
Happy MDW!

I use the same grill, replaced a 4 burner natural gas grill that I had for 20 years, been happy with it!
