They continue to pass their waterproof tests and I’ve not had a watchmaker yet tell me they see anything unusually wrong with any seal. But hey if it’s a worry for you or anyone else don’t use it. I do and will continue to because I like the results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To the people who clean their watches often. What do you do with a watch that’s not waterproof?

I used to wear mine in the shower to wash it, but the build-up of soap scale in the clasp was almost as gross as the DNA gunk.

You learn something new everyday. I have literally never washed or cleaned my watches. They look perfectly normal to me.

I wash the watches once a month. It’s a relaxing experience.

Personally, I would never buy or wear a watch that didn't have sufficient water resistance to survive a thorough cleaning. My watch gets dirty with life. When I get home and wash my hands, I like to wash my hands and the watch with Dawn. If the watch cannot survive that, then to me it's not a very good watch. (I'm the same way with expensive clothes that can't survive a washing machine.)

one day, one year,
it might depend on your transpiration and use environment i never use water, i clean and lubricate my watches with thin oil for sewing machines, help with a brush, then compressed air and finally paper towels it works for me |
