Miami Beach and Key West
Dear Friens
I'll be from 26.10 to 30.10 and from the 30.10 to 2.11 first in Miami Southbeach and then in Key West. My Question: can someone be so polite and provide me Sightseeing/Shopping Info and the easiest/cheap Way from Miamo to Key West? I saw a Ferry or something (or maybe someone here has a car rental?) Thanks in advance for any hints, intel, tricks, etc.. Alex from Switzerland

Cheapest way is just rent a car....it's a beautiful drive. We always do it in less than 3 hours. I've taken a boat from Ft. Myers to Key West but I am not sure who does Miami to Key West.... Maybe these guys will know ? http://www.seakeywestexpress.com/ LOTS of shopping in Miami...Here is a good link to the Top 10. Some Indoor some out door. We love CoCoWalk and Bal Harbour... http://miami.about.com/od/shoppingse...opshopping.htm Good luck! |

Thanks for your responses:
Interests: Culture and Shopping. Means: Anything you have to see if your in that area (what the area is famous for, Design, Buildings, Restaurants, Museums....) and shopping (well, good deals for all kind of stuff (if there would be a Rolex Outlet I would be interested :) ) If possible I would like not to rent a car or just for a day or so... but as I've been told it's more or less unavoidable to rent a car... Especially from Southbeach to Key West and back... but I'm still looking for a Ferry. (seems more easy and relaxing for me...) Thanks Alex

A little north is Sawgrass Mills one of the largest outlet malls. Sorry no Rolex outlet - does one even exist?
