How much do you think a 5711 will cost in 5 years?

Do you think prices will rise or fall? And to how much?

They will stay the same with a +/- 10% fluctuation.

No reason to go any higher than what it is right now

I thought they might drop if hype dies down around watches. Not many people would have known what a Royal Oak, Nautilus etc. was five years ago, but they have entered the mainstream. Do you think hype/mainstream consciousness will slowly die down a bit and we will return to something similar to how things were before at all?

Drop back to around retail of the current comparison piece - currently not one in the catalogue.

So you think a 5711 in 5 years will cost the same as a retail 5811 now?
Why do you think that?

Trends change. There will be something new to which watch collectors aspire. I see prices falling significantly from where we are now over the next few years on the Nautilus.

Prices will fall back down to around retail as hype dies. Then at some point in the future watches will get really hot again and they will go back up.

I predict an apocalyptic winter with zombie hell, in less than five years. If my prediction is true, I won’t even give you a ham sandwich for your 5711

My belief is that prices of in-demand scarce goods will fluctuate over time with the economy - but like stock markets, will trend upward over the medium to long term.

In 5 years, the 5711 will be due for a service. Expect it to be gone for 18 months and cost $5000.

Likely going to dip hard next year while people put their money on more secure purchases. In 5 years, I guess it depends if hype people still care about Patek as a brand

I never thought they would get to the levels we saw a few years ago, so i have no idea. If they were 40k, i wouldn’t be surprised. If they were 175k, i also wouldn’t be surprised.
