After Baselwolrd seems Deepseas are going up

I just noticed after the release of the new Deepsea at Basal, it seems prices on the previous models are up considerable. Why is this? Is that kind of how it is when they do a change on any model, that die hard fans want the prior one for possible collectability?

Thanks

So you've identified a trend in the last 19 hours?

Yes, you are an a- hole. Noticed that trend in 30 mins. Hello Mr Personality! Just look on E and you can see the price jump all over the place!

Oh come on, I was right on with what I said when he had that comment. So if I have 100 comments its ok to defend myself against some jerk. What was wrong with the question that offended him!~

It's called opportunism.

I can't see the old one gaining in price, the new one now has the design the first one should have had.

Oh, and the post limit to start calling other users bad names comes at 18.409 posts.... I'm so close now.

I hope the old one will be collectable in the future, maybe called Deepseas beckham like daytona paulnewman.

I’m confused. Am I an a-hole or Mr. Personality?

I think prices will drop. Simply no reasons to increase.

Sellers just chancing it. Personally I think the older reference prices to fall slightly.

prices went up in anticipation of a disontinuation, not in the last 30 minutes... its been trending that way for a while.

Now that we know its not discontinued and the replacement is an improved version of the original i suspect prices will drop.

Thank You!

Probably a defensive act (maybe desperate) to not lose money.

this is a forum for discussions and with that not everyone will agree with everyones opinion..... you didnt put up any supporting evidence to state you claims hence his comment..... in saying that he didnt actually cal you a name or anything as such..... your defense is to come back with a personal attack?
Has nothing to do with the amount of posts (more doesnt give you a right of passage to be abusive)
My point of mentioning your 4 posts is the fact you dont converse much here so perhaps you are unaware of whats acceptable

I can't imagine you can see a trend in one day. The ones that were for sale here remained at the previous price.
More hypebeasts, just arbitrarily mark them up and people will think, omg, these are valuable. Get it now. Hypebeasts social media game. Then threads like this don't help, more gasoline, #trendingtopic #deepseaDBlueworth morenow....

The 126600 SD43 was a big improvement on the 116600, but look at what happened to the prices. 116660 will probably go the same way.

I believe short term the prices will drop, but long term they will go up again eventually.

As it has only been a day or so since the release it will be difficult to deduce any trends as most watches for sale would have been up for sale from before the announcement, and whether they sell anywhere near the listed prices is another matter altogether.

I wish they do but i see you repeating this claim of prices dropping for the old JC. Get ready to be proved wrong. A year from now we shall talk again.
There may (i say may) be a temporary drop but the original JC in particular in a year from now will not be lower.
Average prices for the JC today are 11-12 k EUR and i see them at 12-13k USD in the US. Talk to you in a year. Subscribed.

Careful if you want to stay here. There are other ways to address things around here. As for your post yes I also see prices have been increased by sellers on Chrono24 as well. My guess is prices stay strong for them and supply stays tight but who knows. Historically speaking SS sports models do not go down when a new movement or change is introduced if history is any indicator which I believe it is.
