If you mean in general, then it would seem as if the SS Daytona as well as the SS GMT BLRO (bruiser)

If you mean personally, then its a 116244 and the 116234 .... I can't decide on the dial color or bracelet on the 116234, and I can't decide on whether or not to get diamonds or roman numerals on my white MOP dial if I get the 116244

How long do you plan to own it?
When do you plan to sell it?
What is your expected rate of return?

If your buddy owes you a favor and gets you one well then good for you. Best you don't rub people's noses in it when and if you do.

The 116243 with either a diamond set white MOP dial, or a roman numeral white MOP dial is a beautiful watch. Especially on a jubilee bracelet

The Seadweller 116600 is a good modern watch to invest in. You won't earn a great deal but its going to be a hard to acquire watch in the future and will slowly increase in value. I like mine as its a modern reference that you can wear but have a very low chance of running into someone thats wearing one, which is a rare thing to be able to say for any Rolex.

Watches aren’t an investment for financial gain. They’re investments for a personal pleasure gain, to look at your wrist and appreciate the watch and the hard work you put in to get it. Want investment? Money better invested elsewhere.

Having said that, SS Daytona white dial. Flippers are somewhat frowned upon....

I think this may be true except the demand is so much greater for the daytona.

My AD told me a few years back that the dssd deep blue was harder for him to acquire than the daytona.

White dial Daytona hardest to find right now (116500)
White dial seems to be more expensive than the black dial on the secondary market.

Milgauss, this is the one everyone now wants and you can become very rich! Daytona is so over due to latest secret Basel news, price is falling fast.

Sadly yes. Lately I feel the people who would enjoy and wear the watches are not getting the watches and many are flipped for a quick profit

I saw some idiot on Instagram trying to get people to buy his "how to flip luxury watches" seminar. If you are lucky enough to get a premium model from an AD, the last thing you should do is want to flip it!
