Rolex Daytona Meteorite where are they

Hello, Looking at these things were released earlier this year there don't seem to be many about on the secondary market. Are these super rare currently and even more rarer than the rainbow. Would love to see some on bracelet?

The original dial with romans is the one to have…..you see the full meteorite…..it’s not half covered with 3 black circles…..

I believe DavidSW had a white gold meteorite dial on oysterflex that sold VERY QUICKLY.

My A D told me the next 116505/116515 he sees is mine. I d*** sure hope its true and that its a Meteorite dial. Granted I'll take pretty much any dial. Actually would prefer the Chocolate granted I havent seen, like a lot of us, the Meteorite in the flesh.

Man, that's awesome. I was the first person during the trunk show to request that white gold one... was given thumbs up but he said it would be "forever long". Not even in production at the time (Spring) they showed me the demo ones, he claimed. The meteorite is incredible and features so much 3D variation with light. Plus it's a true panda dial, albeit a space panda.

Sadly, if selling for triple I suspect backdoor deals will be too tempting for many ADs.... Can't wait to see more of these pop up at any rate.

I'm still waiting for a RG M-dial on bracelet. Ordered last year, was hoping the first watches would come in by Oct but AD does not know which config. Could be YG and could be OF.

Not a lot of these out there but they do exist. There was another meteorite Daytona thread probably a month ago with some postings. I posted a picture of mine to that thread.

My dealer said he has not seen one since the release and this was in september 2021 when I received my 116519LN daytona oysterflex...

Hi, I don’t know how to do that so I looked through 25 pages of threads. It is called meteorite Daytona and was started by scooba and the last post was Dec 10th. If nothing else humor me and say you looked at it, lol.

It seems like the dials announced this year are basically MIA. Of course the meteorite seems to be making almost zero appearances on the gray market.

But also the green palm motif dial for the DJ36 has basically no listings in USA of actual in stock models.

There's a reason why they're not appearing on the grey market. Rolex central are monitoring who gets them VERY CLOSELY!! In some countries, Rolex decides who gets them - not the AD. AD has to request on a form stating previous purchase history etc.
As such, any one caught flipping will probably never get another Rolex from an AD and ADs themselves may be "penalised" for recommending the flipper.

Which Australian friend told you that's false? Certainly true from Rolex Australia and Japan from other TRF Members. Several others have written the USA (and HK too) is a law unto themselves with many aspects of Rolex sales behaviour which is a real shame as that maybe what's driving up Grey pricing and flipping.

So in Japan, you've been told or know an AD can sell a meteorite daytona to who they want with no input from Rolex Japan? Just for clarity, not saying you're wrong but it's different to what a respected friend / Rolex collector in Tokyo told me.

There’s a few on chrono 24 they are out there…….but be prepared for 4x retail
