Congrats on the impending retirement!
That would be an interesting combo. Like others have said, the cost of the parts might be prohibitive, but surely an independent watchmaker would be able to do the work for you. Don’t be put off by the few negative comments, this is the right place to ask such questions. Let us know what you end up doing! |

Give it a go. People like LAWW or Rolliworks have equipment and can change parts. They may be able to help you find parts. The ceramic insert is incredibly brittle and most watchmakers won’t try to change it out. But as stated, the green dial and ceramic insert do not come with yellow gold markers (on the dial) or yellow gold (in the numbers on the ceramic insert). Rolex does not make parts like that. You could have an aftermarket dial made and maybe source an aftermarket insert. But the OEM parts don’t exist for your desired configuration. I like to tinker a little, too. Happy hunting.

Congrats on retirement. I will echo what has been said, not gonna happen via Rolex. Food for thought, if you go aftermarket and get it done, don't send it in to Rolex for service; you will get it back as it originally was.
I am not the TRF welcoming committee, but welcome and excuse the A-Holes, they lurk around here regularly now. I think people are so used to discussing questions about investments and AD relationships, an actual honest Rolex question seems odd now. |
