Picked up the last SPB259

...in my country anyway. Absolutely worth it. The dial and design really hit the mark this time. The second hand color is perfect (entire turquoise dial would be too much, right? ;) )

So far I've found all Seiko watches unsatisfactory, but I have a feeling this one might stay. Even the 6R35 is doing a decent job this time (just barely outside of COSC spec). Bracelet isn't very good but what do you expect from a sub-1k Seiko.

Some earlier posters had better photos of the dial, and it really is that good. Pick one up if you can still find it at retail.

That’s a great piece. A little small on my wrist so I’m grabbing the SSA445 from my AD in January. Love the dial on both of the models

Nice dial complimented nicely by the second hand. Enjoy! :-)

I am surprised Seiko went with a screw down crown in a non dive watch. I think this is an excellent move and a welcome upgrade.
