That’s my absolute favorite case they make! Different strokes. I’ve chewed through like 30 GS, finally drew that conclusion

Those 2 blue & green simple models look lovely. They look like the small (37.3mm) hand wound models, e.g., SBGW273/5/7 and the European equivalent (SBGw267/9). If it's the case, they work great with the OEM grain-of-rice bracelet:

looks awesome! that’s the 269 right?

Nice looking watches and gorgeous dials, could be tempting, but still a hard pass on account of the same ol' GS bracelet. At least they are throwing in a free strap to address the bracelet shortcomings.

The strap is not free, if you buy one you will have paid for it but I understand what you are saying. My AD said they were told they will have these watches this week. Waiting to go in and see them.

i really want to buy a GS and i love the look of these, but i just cant get past how thick they are for a dress watch. 12.5mm is crazy to me.

I definitely wouldn’t classify these or any GS in the heritage line as dress watches. These two cases are fantastic (own examples of both) even though I agree would be nice if 1-2mm thinner.

I reserved the SBGH295. The SA is not sure when they will come in. But he told me they have 2 SBGA471 in the boutique.

Does this make the SBGA387 less special?

I agree that they aren't quite dress watches, but they definitely aren't sports watches either, and I feel like i'd end up wearing them either at work or if I'm dressing a bit more smart.

Maybe I'll go try one on and see if I feel any differently.

If they were 10.5-11, I would snap buy one. It just frustrates me that they aren't.

I went into BH boutique today to buy the sbgh295 and walked out with slga007.
Was a nice dial and movement but it just didn’t do it for me.

I saw these watches yesterday at my AD and liked them but not enough to buy one or both. I am going to wait and see what else is released.

I have both of these references, I'm really enjoying them. I haven't had a 44GS or 62GS case before and I like them both. The dials are awesome, the details of them as you wear them are (as with all GS's) very nice to look at, the light blue of the dials seems to accentuate the details.

AD said they are getting one per door. Had to see it in the metal. Very lovely piece.

In terms of the shade of blue, how close is this to either the skyflake or the Omiwatari?

I think so. When I picked it up they weren’t getting anymore. Not limited edition but low volume apparently
