I'm not sure, but I've seen a similar style on early Submariners.

I am actually quite fascinated by the variations in font styles across the different models over the years.

I look out for the long 'F' in ft on every watch I look at.

Sad, I know... lol

The "T" is what gets me on the SD with the bottom so rounded and almost touching the cross bar.

Yes, the T is possibly one of the most unusual fonts I've seen.

It's a shame it doesn't have the open 6's like on the Submariner ...
