I thought they just got rid of the blue face and changed to green? But are they really stopping production entirely?

Like the green was.
Normally special editions are like world times and 5905s etc
But instead why not break the internet with a Tiffany blue 5711

Wow this is the best 5711. Regrettably no relationship there whatsoever.

Good God, the hypocrisy… The only thing this has done for me is look objectively and say I’m thankful I never chased Nautilus rainbows on the secondary market.
I have to agree with the minority opinion on this one. I think it looks rather effeminate, tacky and touristy. But as they say, to each their own.

What a joke.

All great for the greys.

Also, who launches new watches via CNBC vs. Hodinkee / Monochrome / A Blog to Watch. That's nice of Patek.

Sadly, you couldn't have bought enough.

With only 170, and a hundred years of selling Pateks to people, you'd have to buy $100,000,000 in Tiffany diamonds to matter enough to them to get one of these.

It's a joke. Stern's been having the last laugh on us for a year+ now.

Agree on the best 5711 ever. My wife just looked at me and said "we need to have a conversation."

“I had to warn Tiffany and I said ‘listen, this is a fantastic gift,” Stern said. “But it’s also a poisonous one because you will have only 170 pieces and the choice to sell it to the final client will be yours. There will be 170 people who are very happy and the rest will be unhappy.’ I hope they sell it to the right people. This is really the most important for me. When you do such a watch, it has to go to the right person.”

Its hard to take mr sterns comments as facts because as mentioned before he can easily just change his mind.
He says he don't want to be a one watch brand but decides to use that arsenal to blow up the internet.
people say the green 5711 is 600 units probably more like double if not more. If it was 600 units why not number them like the 40th edition.
Very much like Ferrari pistas

Back in my day I had to argue with people here who actually thought Thierry didn’t like the nautilus and wanted to get rid of it. You couldn’t possibly lean harder into it than he has the last 4 years.

I'm with you.

He's always sounded two-faced in this regard.

I remember those days. I think the green 5711 looks better.

Yes, just some nonsense commemorating the anniversary of the relationship. Nothing special in my opinion.

I promise I'm not a Patek hater. I have a huge collection and equally huge amount of love for them. But this is a joke. Especially in this watch madness climate.

Yes, a very cheap looking printed crystal with the letters "LVMH" included in the '2021' lettering.

Just noticed that, terrible. It's a billboard of words, there's a book on the backside so the owner feels special?

+1 I can't believe they pulled a Panerai.

Launching this on CNBC shows who their target audience is...
