It’s going to hurt slightly, but if the AD calls, doubt anybody would turn down the offer to buy one despite the price increase.

VAT included to the tune of 22% it seems (based on the slightly lower German prices that include 19% VAT).

It's pretty weird, but in south america AD's charge A LOT more for Patek.

I paid 56.700 USD for my 5167R in August.

This included 19% VAT and 15% Luxury Tax.

It seems like the Euro price is on par with USD price now? It seems like this increase is currency related otherwise we may see a lot of grey coming from Europe.

I also noticed that even within Europe, prices can be varied in different European counties, such as Netherlands (22%) and France (20%) as they charge different VAT. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Then went to the Singapore Patek website and saw the prices are now all blanked out, suggesting that MSRP are in the midst of updating. It looks like the prices here will once again be higher than Europe and US prices after the refresh....

It really doesn't feel great as a customer when they keep raising prices so much so often.

I'm alright if the local pricing is at least on par with other countries, but we are paying more. Anyway, let's wait for the new price to refresh before further comments...

The prices have been blanked out for a couple of days since last week already. Been waiting to see if there are any price changes in SG as well.

OK, prices are back up in the SG PP website. Don't think there was any price increment.

Damn I guess Patek isn't feeling the burn from this recession yet.

Recession only hurts mostly lower middle class. Don’t get me wrong it does hit the middle middle class and the upper middle class as well but mostly the lower middle class. The extremely wealthy or .1% of income earners don’t get hurt by the recession. They are the idiots that cause it. Or better put they support the policies that cause it. Mostly I suspect because they don’t get affected by it. Patek will do just fine during the coming worldwide recession.

Yes but in my opinion exactly the lower middle-class is the target group of PATEK.. I don't see any normal wealthy people wear luxury watches in Europe.. It are all exactly the kind of people that try to show off something that isnt really there. In the USA btw i think this is different.
