New pick up...

It's pretty stealthy, but if you know you know. It's also quite thin and perfectly proportioned. The white gold is warm and the watch wears very subtly, but with presence.

For the naysayers, it's not a traditional Calatrava for sure, but it is every bit a Patek.

Looks great. Got to see the AC/TT version at a boutique recently and it does look very good.

I love this reference and am waiting for one myself. Photos did not do it justice and wasn't until I saw it in person at the Geneva salon where I actually wanted one. I would take this or the 5326 but feel this is much cleaner looking and already have a travel time aqua.

Congrats on the pickup, absolutely beautiful!

Congrats on the pickup, absolutely beautiful!
Thanks! The 5326 is a great reference. A bit thicker though, and I feel the simplicity really makes this watch. Granted I'm not really in multiple times zones, so I prefer a cleaner dial for readability purposes.

Love this and the 5326... I feel like either would be my entry into PP. Can I ask if this was your first? How long from when you expressed interest was it allocated to you?

Congratulations!

Thanks! My first. Usually I go with Vacheron for my high-horology needs, but I've always wanted a Patek, and this reference really spoke to me.

I went gray on this piece as I was quoted 2-4+ years by several ADs. It ended up being a little bit over retail plus tax, but not bad at all.

Great watch, and a better look than the AC/TT, IMO - And welcome to the club!

Congratulations, excellent pickup! Don't know if there are even any naysayers, 5226 and 5236 seem to be universally liked. The dial is the main attraction but the hobnail on the case flank is my favorite feature on these

Congratulations, that's a very attractive casual-looking watch. And its case in particular looks also fantastic, aside of its more elaborate design, which is a specialty of Patek.

Wonderful looking. I'm sure hoping to land one of these new calatravas next year.

Now the real question: nubuck strap or black/tan sailcloth/calf?
