Surprise 5935a
An absolute masterpiece. Was a surprise shipment for my AD and he was super kind to make such a great allocation available to me so early in my PP journey - especially since this was the boutiques first since the release in October.
My first PP in my personal collection as the 5227R I posted about a few weeks ago unexpectedly was a gift for a business partner. We were expecting the 5235/50R to be my first piece coming in and while that’s a great piece it’s certainly not a world timer! In a sea of nightmare stories of brand introductions into haute horology PP has quickly built a loyal customer for life as it’s been such a pleasant journey so far. And so much left to discover in the catalogue! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's very nice to see such an outcome. I saw it earlier this week and was surprised to see it was more on the coppery side of the Salmon spectrum and quite light in the tone. It's a beautiful model, congratulations :)

Nice to see you again on here Vasco. Ty. I’m glad you got to see it in the metal, you nailed it. My wife used “coppery” as the exact description as well. There was a 5172G with the salmon dial I got to hold it next to and the difference was striking. The reflective properties on both the carbon motif and the city wheels was a pleasant unexpected surprise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congrats. I was never a huge fan of the world time models, but this one does look great!

It's been a while since I saw the 5711/1R (rose gold bracelet version) in the metal but when I saw the new 5712/1R this week, it also seems to me it was more rose than their rose gold color was before. Maybe it's the surface or the fact I saw it near daylight instead of under a yellow inside artificial light but I wonder if they modified some of their colors. Thanks for sharing :) |

Unfortunately I have not been allocated anything of the new releases - I could have picked up a 5320G salmon but it was out of my budget. I really like the new 5326 and 5226 - both strap options and the modern looks are fantastic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
