What current Moonwatches have a display back?

Hey all,

Looking to add another Speedie to my collection, I currently have a 3861 heaslite but I'm looking to add an open display back version.

Obviously there's the Sapphire sandwich which I'd like to avoid, the 321 which is out of my league.

Any others ?

the previous generations dating to the 90s all have the same option with sapphire back, some with a hesalite crystal, which is a fun quirk. There are also 3rd party options where you can " convert" your hesalate to an exhibition back for about 100 bucks. Thats the best affordable option lol

I have the base heaslite version, I wanted to try something a bit different instead of the base Sapphire sandwich version

I'll bet the case-back from the current Sapphire Sandwich fits the standard model with the Hesalite crystal. I'm not sure this conversion worked with prior-generations of the Speedmaster Pro because the Hesalite version used a Faraday Cage, but now I think the transparent case-back might be a direct swap. I'm a little surprised no one on the various watch fora hasn't done it yet, but perhaps getting parts from Omega to do this would be difficult.

Have you considered the Moonphase? It has a display caseback and I love mine!

If you're looking for a Speedmaster model with an open display case back, and you want to avoid the Sapphire Sandwich and 321 models, you could consider the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch with reference number 311.30.44.51.01.002. This watch has a classic design and features a Hesalite crystal front and an open display back
