In Search of MoonSwatch - How many Swatch stores have you visited?

Just got my Mission to the Moon at the Las Vegas store (on the Strip). The sales people there were friendly, and happy to share what limited info they know about deliveries.

Have tried at NYC (5th Ave/Time Square/WTC) and Rome (del Corso), and the Moonswatch Tour van in Portland OR with no luck.

Still looking for the Mercury.

Where have your tried? Success or no success?

Got one at the Swatch store in Paris. Uranus. They had Sun, Venus and Earth as well. Was hoping to see Neptune.

Plenty in Aus from what i've seen
Most references are available with the Moon and Uranius the most scarce.
They're selling for RRP or just slightly over
A few people have even offered to pick them up for other members of the FBook groups i'm in

Buddy of mine picked up an Earth for me Saturday from the Swatch store in Palermo. They also had Saturn, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Pluto, Sun, and Uranus.

Kind of a cool watch to have alongside my 3861 sapphire.

I think they are fun and wonder what Swatch will do next with regards to making a plastic version of an iconic watch model.

Any thoughts on this?

The MoonSwatch is not anything but a very affordable toy...love my Moon, will try to buy Mercury/Neptune if I see one...honestly, now that I have one, no need to wait in line anymore and make my wife think I am crazy...

In search of a Mission to Mercury I've tried Glasgow, Edinburgh, all London stores, Barcelona and Hamburg. Zero success.

Managed to pick up a Mission to the Sun for the wife though.

Here in Salzburg/Austria where I live, is one Swatch Store located. Last time I went there (a month ago) they had all in stock, except for Mercury, Moon and Neptune.
Got my Jupiter there

I'm visiting them from time to time, to check out, if Neptune is available... to this day to no avail

Taking from the other members posts and my own experience, it seems, that Mercury, Moon and Neptune are hardest to get...

Cheers,
Michael

Got Sun, Venus and Uranus in Paris after Christmas
Mercury and Jupiter in Las Vegas last week
I don’t really like how the straps wear, My son wore Venus for a few months and it never broke in. But they are a bunch of fun color combinations and a good starter watch. I’m gonna try to get them all.

I live close to a boutique store in King of Prussia, PA and only got the most common ones. Was on vacation in Europe lately and got Moon and Mercury in the Lyon FR boutique. Appears like they get shipments which include these 2 every week.

The Vegas store is the only place I've gone too. First time walked by and they hadn't gotten that days shipment in but told me they expected it within an hour. Rode the rollercoaster and got something to eat then walked by on my way out of NY NY and they were in stock. Got 1 (Mars) but they had most of the planets in.

The closest one to me, and by close I mean two hour drive each way, is King of Prussia west of Philadelphia, PA. I only went there once this past fall and they had exactly nothing. From what I hear it has improved, on the less in-demand configurations only.

The planetary theme is a good example of how far I live from a Swatch boutique. Despite that, I still wanted to collect them all.

A friend of mine secured me the Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Pluto, at the Mall of American in Minnesota. Just last week, on a 36 hour stop over in Vienna, I was able to knock out most of the rest! Vienna is good hunting ground.

Now within striking distance, I ordered Moonshine and Neptune off Chrono24. Moonshine arrived yesterday, Neptune should be here next week. Not as fun as buying in person, but better than nothing. I will post a picture when I have all 12!

Suddenly I 'need' a real moonwatch to complete the bakers dozen. I feel I'm not alone in that decision. Overall I think this was a great move by Swatch Group.

So, has anybody else bought an Omega Moonwatch to top off their Swatch box? If so, what model?

A classic Moonwatch Professional feels logical, but the Apollo 8 darkside of the moon has always been attractive. Because of its fun nature, the silver snoopy award also feels like a good fit.

I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago. There are two Swatch stores (NYNY & Fashion Mall). I waited in line each AM (Fashion Mall, did not try NYNY) before opening (Tues - Thurs). Only avail option was Uranus and Pink one time. I picked up Uranus one time. Also stopped back a couple times mid-day. No luck.

Cool fun watch? Yes. I would NEVER pay over retail, maybe a few $$ if it was a color I really wanted. The grand scope of watches, it is NOT a $300 timepiece. My CasioAK GAB2100 (newest release) is a much more substantial piece at 30% less. But the MoonSwatch does have a really cool factor.

I don't like the band at all on the MoonSwatch......too rigid. not comfortable. If I keep this one, I will put it on a NATO. A darker color NATO will also make it feel a bit more masculine.

I didn't know the fashion mall had a swatch store too. They do get shipments throughout the day. When I walked by the NYNY Store, they told me none came in the morning shipment but the afternoon delivery should have some, which it had about two dozen.

I agree in most situations I would not pay over retail. If I was dying to have one and didn't have a store close to where I could go, I'd pay a couple hundred over to have it shipped to me because its cheaper than traveling to get the watch.

Becoming much easier to get where I live now in the Balkans. Wife and I had Mars and Venus already, went to Belgrade a few weeks ago and picked up Mercury/Moon/Uranus/Pluto all in the same day, store also had Earth/Sun in stock. They have started to get Neptune in stock so hoping to pick up soon. Wife and I both enjoy wearing them as a fun alternative to our other Rolex/Omega watches...

Mall of America tends to be consistently in stock of Uranus, Sun, Mars, earth, Jupiter and Venus (usually 3-4 of those at a time). Never seen anything else there in my ventures.

Wife and daughter just returned from Philadelphia with Earth and Saturn. Just missing Pluto, mars and moon. Anyone have any good display ideas? I’m thinking Sun taking center then the other 10 displayed around it; or maybe in a line…
