Gotta go with THE classic Breitling IMO - the Navitimer.

Curve ball, how about a Transocean Chrono? Classic looks and 100m water resistance.

I love my new blue Chronomat 44. I went to the NYC Flagship Boutique to buy my first Breitling. I was thinking about Navitimer 1. But I ended up with the Chronomat, which has mostly brushed finish.

I assume you mean the Chronomat. All Breitlings are chronometers these days.

I would go for Chronomat but it all depends what’s your style. Navitimer is a classic but not my style.

In my book there are only two Breitlings;
The Navitimer (Of course !)
and the Emergency which is unique to Breitling.
Everything else looks like something else another mfg has and vice-versa..

I also love the look of the navitimer and have wanted one for a decade. I think the croc strap is a proper strap for the watch and also a reminder to not get it wet.

However, I am so use to the carefree of my sub that I rarely take it off. looks like the superocean heritage might be a better fit with my use.

I like both. Personally have a Wings. Similar to the Chronomat.
