Sounds like a great pair of PPs - would love to see some photos of the 5370, especially the movement. One of their most amazing watches in my opinion !

entirely incorrect. They were never every intended as dress watches. When they were first introduced they were a sports watch and it was not generally acceptable to wear in a dress occasion. The fact that society is much more casual today and people wear sports watches with formal wear doesnt make it a dress watch today either.

Its always been a sports watch, then and now, but don't confuse what a sports watch is.

Sport watch = a more casual watch, not a watch to play sports in
Sport jacket= a more casual alternative to a formal suit, not a jacket to play sports in

I don't have any money. I'm not wealthy at all. I'm an average guy with an average job. There's food on my table and a roof over my head. I am good at my job, my family loves me and I have a few close friends.

I wear a Rolex for ME. I don't give a damn about what it says to other people. For the record, it's a 34 year old 15003. The moment you wear a watch, any brand, for others and not for yourself, you can be branded a fool.
I like what this guy said 100% !!

I wear a Rolex.
You can say that here and we get you, but don't say that anywhere else unless you are very good at ducking.

Lets see them!

Thanks OP for letting me know I am an attention seeking whore.

Your wise observations through this thread led me to a much more deep understanding of myself now.

It is no wonder that the Oracle of Delphi had inscribed on its entrance "know thyself".

Well I guess I’m an obnoxious rapper-like attention seeking whore

The reason I wear large watches are my 7”+ wrists. So OP who are you to say that my taste is classless and rapper-like lmao

And fyi, most of my watches are funded by my father so I’m guessing I’m old money(?)

There’s no need for negativity in this forum tbh, I started posting here because I feel that this forum really cares about watches despite differences in opinion and I don’t think anyone should judge anyone for what they wear. If you have an opinion, keep it to yourself so you don’t look stupid with all your nonsense-preconceived stereotypes.
