Need Help: Does this AP fit?

Got a great deal on this two tone 25730. I'm collecting GMT functions and love this one because AP doesnt do two tone any longer and I feel that the 36mm wears more like a 38-39mm, while the original Jumbo, 15300 and 15202, really wear like 40-41mm. My wrist size is a 7.25", maybe a bit larger during the heat of the summer. Take a look at the shots below. I have one with my two tone GMT Master II side by side...not too much of a difference!

What do y'all think?? I can't stand the massive 15400, just looks like one is trying too hard to be like DJ Khalid, or some rapper/NBA star

Hate to break it to you but any TT watch is far more rapper/try hard than a steel 15400

Wow, great way to make new friends here.

You have been asking for opinions here, but seem to be a bit not open to others - just sayin

I see and by "man up" you were expressing a gesture of friendship?

whoa there cowboy... so you are saying out of everybody who owns a 15400, absolutely none of them likes the watch simply for what it is? ALL of those guys are trying too hard and have no class? To each his own I suppose

I'm saying I would look that way, some guys have 8"+ wrists and can make the 41mm(which wears more like a 44mm) look pretty small.

Since you’re asking it’s a little bit small for my taste, not sure if that makes me new money or old money but being able to make your own money is no bad thing.

are you trolling your own thread

get whatever you are going to feel comfortable wearing. I own a 15400 and would not buy the watch you are considering. It looks fine though.

My wrist is only .5'' larger than yours and I don't think the 15400 looks too large. My wrist is pretty flat so it actually tends to wear small at certain angles. Really don't think it gives off the no class, trying too hard look.

Your wrist is bigger, I'd say by the look of it, it's just over 8"

Definitely some bargains to be had if you like the smaller sizes

LOL - everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if it’s way off base. I’ve owed a 15400 for over 4 years, have a 7 1/2 inch wrist and wear it with jeans, shirts, T-shirt, suit - whatever. I wear it for myself and no one else.

And yes, the TT AP does look slightly small on your wrist since you asked.

Sounds like the OP looks like DJ Khaled or been told he acts like him, so now he's deeply defensive, insecure and lacking in class himself. Tone it down or you won't last here.

I would love to have 7.25" wrists.................the 15400 would be a no brainer in that case

I am always equally jarred and inquisitive when someone uses the term 'new or old money' how they would care to define it..?

Easy there..................... think that's a bit of an over the top statement, and not at all true.

AP's are meant to wear bigger than most watches-- that's the very reason a 41mm AP wears like a 44mm.

New money is first generation wealth. Old money grew up with money and/or inherited it.

I have no idea why one would be afraid to look like they actually earned it

Watch looks good but I don’t think the 15400 wears large on wrists over 7”.

Close, one needs to also consider the stereotypical(often true) mentality associated with each statute. New is typically associated with a mentality that seeks acceptance and acknowledgement of said new found weakth, hence the excessive flaunting and showboating with an oversized watch. Where was with old, there's an inherent need to keep things more conservative as the wealth has become normalized and common, hence the more demunitive and subtle watch sizes...that's my perspective...in other words, if you need a loud watch to shout about your success, it must be out of the ordinary for you...
