26470BA vs Platona vs Day date 40 platinum

What do you think which one?
Platona and 26470BA are similar price ($75k)
Day Date 40 platinum ($62,500)

Platona all day long, and you can get a new/mint one around 50 on the grey market

Actually they can all easily be had way under MSRP if you're willing to negotiate. Or if you simply DGAF about the cost, I'll get any of them brand new for you for MSRP tax free

While this is anathema to the two brands in general, The AP is for the weak ego people that are screaming look at me. I have a friend that has the pounder and it is every bit as loud and attention seeking as you would think it is. So is he.

The Daytona and DD40 are better. I wear a DD40 pt so I’m a little biased.

NEVER pay retail.

I'd go plat DD too, still not a huge fan of the brown on the Platona, and prefer RG to YG and no bracelet on a ROO.

I'd take the Platona in that group! But wow, what a fun decision to make! Good Luck!

I would buy the Platona, the mother of all Daytona’s !!
The AP is very beautiful piece but I don‘t think it’s so uncomplicated to wear.
The DD in platin with the baguette diamonds is a stunning piece, I had it but I don’t know if you need one, it’s a very classic but also beautiful piece.everything depends which other watches you have in your collection!

I have owned the Platinum DD II several times and I like the new dials on the Platinum DD 40. The brown color on the Platinum Daytona has always slowed me down but I prefer it with the diamond markers as I think it helps with the color. The AP is a beast and you should look at the secondary market on all of these watches. The Daytona can be had for 49-52k preowned. The DD 40 can be had preowned for 40-42k. Resale, if you paid retail, will hurt your feelings.

The day dates and Daytona’s feel so small and flimsy in comparison to wearing the pounder. The only one that comes close in weight is the platona. And keep in mind brick comes in platinum as well. But we are comparing the gold pounders to platinum rolexes. They are all nice watches

So the size of your watch has a direct correlation to the strength or weakness of your ego?

I wear a watch coz it makes me happy, maybe you should stop projecting your insecurities on to other people
