Tudor GMT date issues poll

Got my GMT Saturday. Last night it jumped from the 12th to the 14th. Just wanted to post a poll to see the percent of issues

I’ve had mine for 10 days now. The date is changing fine so far, if rather late....sometime after 2am (not that this bothers me).

So disappointed with Tudor. I sent it back to the service centre and they said they need to run the movement to figure out what is happening. 20180806_213409.jpeg

I think what OP's referred was about multiple date jumping from say 1st to 3rd of the month.
It wasn't about the time that your date jump say midnight or 1am.

I also read somewhere else who reported this issue too for date jumping 1 and a half or 2 for this GMT.
I am actually about to pull a trigger for this one but may be hold on a moment for further feedback from current owners...

Yes. Date jumping issue either 2 full days or 1.5 has been reported too.

Bad numbers so far. Need more owners , I suspect fail rate will decline but clearly an early bug here

Ten days of ownership, no problems with date change or anything. Other than what to do with the extra leather strap and deployant buckle.

I could careless. I'm buying it if I see it. If it's under warranty, I'll just send it in and it'll be good as new.

I sent mine in. It’s on the way to Dallas RSC according to my AD. He says they are aware of the issue and I trust that they’ll sort it out. My other timepieces are happy to get back in rotation because the Tudor GMT was dominting my wrist time for 2 weeks straight.

Got one from Frankfurt duty free week ago and obvious date issue now. I wish I checked web before but how can one expect that from Rolex/Tudor.

Thats a big disappointment for sure. Rolex/Tudor seriously need to test their new movements fully before releasing them. Seriously its not like its got 20 complications. Its got 2 complications a date and GMT. LOL

Mine was fine but I sold it anyway. In the end it just did not work for me the way that I hoped.

From what I understand, it is not a part issue, but more of an assembly issue. Overlubrication of the date change mechanism. This is what several people were told that had theirs repaired. Could be due to one employee on a particular run, so it possibly never was an issue during testing if lubrication was correct.

I agree though...... the best course of action at this point would be to stop selling them and recall all watches..... unless they know exactly which ones are effected.

My option is not there! I had the issue, but it’s solved itself. A couple of months spinning round the date seems to have fixed. Has been fine for nearly a month now. Fingers crossed.

Good poll.

And for all the folks saying "oh dont moan just send it back" thats not really the point when it's a luxury item ... and I mean luxury as in not a cheap Seiko or Citizen which changes date without issue.

Being without your new prized possession zaps the fun out of things.

4 days into owning it my date began advancing 2 days overnight. At first it only happened 3 of the next 5 nights. For the last 2 weeks though it has advanced 2 days overnight every night. Still love the watch (on fabric strap) but will be sending in when the summer is over.

Very strange behaviour indeed. Missing day phenomenon would drive me nuts! Hopefully Tudor sorts this out.
