Same here over the Ditch. I asked two ADs about the new BLRO and they both said "We can't sell you one of those".

Then to really piss me off, my local AD sold their only Tudor Fifty-Eight to a VIP even though I was No.1 on the wait list

You will only see them at resellers, at big mark-ups.

Australia is a joke for getting stock. Too few AD's and it's literally become a market where you have to grovel to get put on a list. I've recently been told I can only put my name down for 1 watch at a time, even though the BLRO could be 5 years away. I'm eagerly awaiting our dollar bouncing back, then it suddenly becomes cheaper again to buy from US greys vs our MSRP

My mate put his name down for a SS Sky Dweller in any dial color. 2 months later he got the call, which as only like 3 weeks ago. Apparently there was 10 people they called before him that turned it down or didn't pick up. Luck of the draw I guess.

Picked up a GMT LN a few months ago... But it was bundled with a TT DJ for my wife.

Wait time was a week. The rolex boutique in Melbourne told me 3 years wait even with the bundle

About 2 months ago I was at an AD and was looking for a ND Sub and no luck. But the AD had an Explorer I (unspoken for) at the back. I looked at it and decided to wait for ND Sub.

I "put my name down" for a BLNR about two years ago. I had no purchasing history with them at that time so I didn't expect to get it. I was proven correct. Since then I've bought 1 tudor watch with them and taken in two other rolexes to get fitted. If I ever ask about the BLNR they just dodge the question, I doubt they even have record of my name. I thought they might loosen up a little since I'm young (ish) and they know I buy a lot (from chats) and they might make a lot of money off me in the next ten years. No luck. Just way too much demand.

They said they'd let me look at the already sold Tudor GMT they got last month. Didn't get a call.

The other AD in town has a 1 watch wait list policy. They did follow through with a call about a Tudor but I had already bought it in the 4 months that took.

I wish I never bought my first rolex. They take all my wrist time now and I have the fever. How did this happen!??? Haha.

Comes down to the relationship one has with AD's.
Fellas on my local FB group have the new Jubilee GMT, BLNR, Sub.
Same story around the world

They are vary rare, if you did get one you are one of the chosen few.

I said I would by 5 Date-Justs to get a Red/Blue GMT and the response was "there's no point because we can't get it."

I got a date sub in March in Melbourne, totally unexpected. I did email my wish list to the AD, the sub was 2nd on my list. I couldn’t believe it when I got the call

Hulk two months ago.

A friend of mine got the Daytona C White dial from AD in Sydney after a two year wait. He bought a couple watches from them... previously.

Unless you spend some $ with them it's pretty difficult to find SS references just lying around.

Due to the demand globally it does seem more and more having bought in the past definitely helps.
