Went watch shopping and to dinner in San Francisco

We went to San Francisco to watch shop for my wife and to visit my daughter and her husband so they could take my wife out to dinner for Mothers day at the Franciscans Restaurant at the Fisherman's Wharf. Unfortunately neither my wife or the AD wanted me to take pictures inside.

Cool we dig the Cliff House Too! Got a Sweater with the restaurants name on it last time we were there. I have had several people comment on it because they like the place too. Enjoy!!!

They had a very nice selection and all of the ladies were very helpful. I found most to be very knowledgeable about some of the watches, and that was due to the fact that some worked in service before they went to the sales floor.
Your crab looks yummie,

Glad you had a good time - the seafood looks delicious

So what's the deal with Swatch Group in Frisco, do they have their Regional service center there... ?

Thanks for sharing the good (& bad)

I don't know , but when I went inside and inquired about the sign, they all looked at each other and one said that he has no clue . It definitely was an corporate answer.

Thanks! I know the 305 is big, but it gets a lot of compliments. The weather in S.F. has been very nice these past couple of weeks. It's going to be 85 degrees today.

I thought about it, but my food shots don't stand a chance with his. I thought I would share since most members do get out to S.F. from time to time.

We also enjoyed the Cliff House for one of our Anniversary dinners, great food there as well. The Cliff House has a very rich history.
My all time favorite San Francisco restaurant was the "Carnelian Room" the views there, were to die for and the memories are unforgettable.

Wow! 19 years in the Bay Area and I missed the Carnelian Room?!! That place sounds awesome! Is there any substitute for a spectacular view of SF and great food? I wonder. There must be...

Going to Gary Danko's for special outing with wife and friends at the end of the month! Looking forward to that one!

I went to the Carnelian Room my first time after a Business meeting an fell in love with all that it had to offer, from the required sports coat for men, private wine lockers to cognac dipped cigars and last but not lease the views of S.F.. After that, I knew I had to take my wife there as well for all of our special occasions. I am truly sorry that you did not experience the Carnelian Room though out your years there. Honestly, I don't know of anything closet to it, maybe in Chicago or New York. Since you have been there for 19 years, I will take recommendations from you. When I was younger, I use to love to go to Skates on the Bay, they had great food and you could always catch team players from the 49ers, Raiders, A's and S.F. Giants up in there.
