What size deployant + strap for 40mm Speedy?
Hey guys, I hate to be that guy but I just can't get a straight answer from my AD on this. I just purchased a 40mm Speedmaster racing chrono on bracelet and I want to get a rubber strap with deployant buckle. What are the sizes I should be getting for both? I am seeing 19mm for the straps.....what about the deployant? Will 18mm fit? 20mm?
Would love some insight on this. Thank you in advance. |

Nice watch. Congratulations! I have a colleague at the office who chose that one, but with the silver dial.
Your watch is 19mm between the lugs. The Omega strap made for it is 19mm at the lugs and 18mm at the buckle, so it uses the 18mm Omega deployant. If you would like the correct Omega components for that model, I recommend you visit or phone an Omega Boutique and tell them you want to purchase the correct strap/deployant for reference 326.32.40.50.01.001 (that's the reference for the version of your watch on the rubber strap). Be sure you're sitting down when they quote the prices :-) |
