Freshly serviced ‘67 Seamaster Deville

Finally found someone local that was able to work on this watch. Freshly serviced and been on the wrist for about a month. Check out the results:

Been keeping between -1 and -2 per day.

I also read some interesting facts about these. Only 3000 (movements) imported to the US and actually assembled here with US made cases. 560 cal movement.

Nice Omega. Great to see it in service and performing this way.

Look at the thickness of those wheels. It appears to be built like a tank!

Beautiful!

Rare to see a Seamaster Deville. I was at an Omega Boutique this weekend, and coincidentally, we talked briefly about the DeVille line, as the wife took an interest in one. Apparently the Seamaster DeVille was offered during only a short period of time before the DeVille became its own line.

It looks to be in great condition. Here's to another 50+ years of service

Looks gorgeous!
Here’s my Deville approx late 1960s, given to me after my grandfather died 30 years ago. Not in great shape, prob has some non-OEM parts but runs. At some point I’ll have omega fix it up better. My GF wore it while reporting for the AP in NYC and DC. It’s shook hands with a few presidents and NYC mayors as well as countless NYPD officers.

Awesome! Great looking watch.

I have a similarly aged Seamaster DeVille. They're beautiful pieces.

Thanks!

This is my understanding as well. I believe ‘63-‘67 are the years it was the Seamaster DeVille.

The following article is an interesting read...and appears the 560 is actually “rare” and unique although I don’t think it has impacted value significantly. I just thought it was very interesting to learn about the history of this specific time piece.
