1955 Tudor Submariner. Manual wind.
I've just come across a 1955 Tudor Submariner. Ref: 7923 for sale at a specialist auction house in Wiltshire, England.
It's a manual wind model on a non-Tudor bracelet, with what appears to be some nice provenance. Estimate £30-50,000 It's LOT 64 at GARDINER HOULGATE, Corsham, Wiltsshire. UK. SN13 9SW. I have no vested interest in this company or the watch, just thought someone here, might be interested. |

Wrong hands, fwiw. Likely will affect the end result.
I had a glance through and most of their sales estimates seem low. Like decent datejusts estimated at 1500 pound or ecplorer 2 full sets for 3000 pound. Sure wish I could get them at those prices. |

Auction houses always estimate low. It brings in bidders and gives them the hope of getting the item cheap.

Don’t forget too the estimate is without tax and commissions. Without looking, I would say that is probably about 25% on from the hammer price. Bidders now really have to factor that in

I dunno guys, the chipping is sad, but i rather this and the nice orig lume plots. Find a cheap set of big paddle hands and you have a nice daily driver (lol)
