Looks awesome! So the question is why Rolex chose Jubilee and not Oyster on pepsi at the first place?

What I did not expect is how much I like the watch on the jubilee. Before it came out I was all oyster and never would have wanted a Pepsi on a jubilee. Then I became obsessed with it. And was lucky enough to get one last fall from my AD...

thx for sharing.

weirdly i DO love the hulk on jubilee so will have to source a super jubilee. AD is assisting.

I was suspect of the Jubilee as well, and love the Oyster Bracelet on my Sub. With that said, I find myself wearing the GMT more often because of the jubilee bracelet.

honestly i love my hulk on jubilee. it’s brilliant.

not sure if it would look as good with a black sub.

Looks really good but I think it would look even better on an Oyster with PCLs.

Did you use the same spring bar?
Wondering if it was just direct swap bracelet

Whats the part number for that oyster? You said off the sub - the most recent sub?

Evidence? That’s not the history I have seen. The GMT and Sub both started out on an Oyster as far as I know.

I think the brushed Oyster works a lot better than the busy Jubilee - which is a dress watch bracelet.

Goes a long way to correcting the problem with these multicoloured bezels which is that there is too much going on with the larger bezel numbers compared to the original Pepsi.

My concern is the mixing up of spring bars. Are the GMT spring bars the same diameter as the Sub ones - both in tips and centre tube? If the GMT ones are not a close fit inside the end link tubes that hold them on the Sub bracelet it would mean they are not as strong due to not being supported correctly. Can’t think why Rolex would design them to be different - deliberately awkward as ever!

Will buy a brushed oyster for mine as soon as this mad period will be over. I like it on the jub, but I'm pretty sure I will like it better on the oyster.

Buying an Oyster bracelet for my 126710 BLRO was possibly the best thing I ever did. That and buying a complete black bezel setup. I now could happily sell all my other watches and have the most versatile chameleon watch. The Black bezel with the red 24h hand on the jubilee is a joy of a combination.

Can you direct us to which oyster bracelet number worked? Also comment on the spring bar fit?

I prefer my BLRO on its jubilee. Gives it that retro vibe hardening back to it’s vintage DNA which I like .

x2

That said, I can certainly understand why some would want it on an oyster...looks great either way.

How do you change the bezel on a ceramic model? I heard it’s extremely difficult

I bought a plastic bezel remover from eBay and carefully squeezed it off. The black bezel assembly came with the rubber gasket/washer so it popped straigh on wit little fuss. I was very careful putting it back to Pepsi as I hear the bi-metal inserts are more fragile.

Is that the jubilee off your BLRO or a SJ? I’d love to see some pics...
