First Watch, First Omega

I’ve been lurking on TRF for years now, waiting until I could purchase my first watch to post anything significant.

About five years ago, I made a career change that required another four years of school (shout-out Tax LLMs). It was a tough road to travel and I’m fortunate to be in a position where I can now indulge this hobby fully and reward myself for hard work. I expected my first purchase to be a DJ36, but found myself less enamored with the DJ and more by this AT. I kept going back to this watch and bought it last night from a local AD.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with the purchase and am grateful for the opportunity to own it and share my experience with all of you.

Congrats and great choice. That one is my favorite AT configuration (although I haven’t seen the new green IRL yet)!

Congratulations! That Aqua Terra is a great all-around watch. My first nice watch was an Omega and I really love the brand.

Nice one! I own an AT and a DJ2. Can’t go wrong with either.
