Do any of you sleep with your watch on?
I like to sleep with my Sub 114060 sometimes
because I like staring at the lume before I fall asleep or I like to know the time when I wake up without being blinded by the bright screen of my phone. Does anyone else sleep with their watch on? Does your significant other say anything about it? Thanks for your thoughts! |

If I'm traveling, my watch never leaves my wrist so yes that includes sleeping with it on. When I'm home I take it off for showers and sleep.

When I'm away from home, my watch never leaves my wrist. At home, on my bedside table.

I sleep with a casio vibration alarm watch. It has zero aesthetic appeal, but as a tool watch, it has no peers.

Pretty much wear my watch 24/7/365. Have done that all of my adult life. Probably mostly due to laziness

Yes.
I hear folks say "It will get scratched!" and I think "What the heck is in bed with you tough enough to scratch SS, precious metals, or sapphire?". They must have a full-body callous to protect their skin from the objects that would ruin a Rolex. And shower with it on. To which I hear "Ew, it would be full of dead skin and soap scum" and I think "Uh, my ears aren't full of dead skin and soap scum and I leave them on in the shower... it's called RINSING and it works on the Rolex too...". |

Wear it to bed every night!!!! I think more out of habit because I used to wear digital watches with the alarm set for school/swim practice as a kid.

yes for decades, and she sleeps wearing her circa 1990s DJ36. Basically, we wear and tear 'em and it's fine.

My Rolex watches sleep in a box I made. I wear a Luminox at night. Just had a new dial installed after about 18 years. The lume is always bright.

No, I find I lay on my hand, either under my pillow or the like and the watch doesn't make this comfortable.
I can't really understand the apprehension about taking it off in when sleeping in hotel - unless it's more that you would forget it - surely you're not worried about being robbed of a night time? I'd likely not leave it in the room during the day, as housekeeping often keep the doors open when cleaning a room and anyone could whip in and grab it. |

Well, yesterday was Sunday Funday and I “fell asleep” with mine on. So yes, sometimes I do...

I like wearing when I am away from home. Often the lume lasts long enough that I can still read it early in the morning. Also, I have a hard time finding a good place to put it.
At home, always off. Except the first week with a new watch. :) |
