Issue with my Sub
I went to wind my Sub to wear it yesterday, and noticed that it didn’t seem to be catching when I tried to wind it. In other words, it feels like I’m just turning the crown with zero resistance. I can tell it is not actually winding the watch.
I’m sure I’m not describing that well, but has anyone else had this happen? I probably need to take it into a RSC when they open back up. |

Might be that the main spring has broken.
Did you notice the hands start to move slightly...then stop? Last time this happened a couple of years ago, it cost me $180 to get fixed. |

Thanks. The hands move fine when I pull the crown out all the way to set the time. It just won’t wind

How old is it, and how long have you had it?
Sometimes they will stick between detents.

Mine just did the same thing a couple of months ago. It was a broken main spring.
Take it in for service. |

OP.. Not that it matters, just a curiosity question... Do you often wind the watch?

This is a long shot, but is there a chance that the threads on the stem are stripped?

This is best, it is likely still under warranty.
