Icon1 It snowed

Last week from the 14th-16th we got hit hard with snow. I'm talking a total of 37" over the course of three days. 27" fell on the 14th and the other 10" coming on the 16th. The 27" set a record for snowfall in a 24hr period. This also has been the snowiest Feb on recrod in history here, with over 60" falling in this month alone.

We had a very mild start to our winter this year, with temps in early Jan reaching the low 60's. Since the middle of Jan over 105" of snow has fallen. The problem when that much comes down that fast is where do you put it? Anywhere you can

I took some before and after pics last Sunday when I used my snowblower to cut back the snow banks.

Here is a shot of the drivway first;

Now after I widened it up a bit

Here's the back patio before and after

This is where I push it all. It all goes to the tree line at the start of the year and the first bunch of it gets pushed off of a drop off at the base of the tree line. That's all piled snow that has been stacked there over the last 6 weeks. Also the shovel indicates the end of the pile.

You can see how much I was able to cut back here

I'm back there somewhere

Here I am when I finished

And lastly, I couldn't get by without a little help from my friends. An '03 GMC Sonoma and a John Deere 828D. 8hp, 28" opening. They come in handy.

Great pictures Paulie hate the snow now we in Wales had a very heavy snow fall late 40s and very heavy drifting in some places up to 6ft-8ft deep.

Those are some great photos, Paulie. We don't usually have that much snow here in Florida...
