6 New Luminor Due Models

They just released 6 new Due models. Granted two of them are variations but the white dials look a bit interesting to me. Even though I probably don't ever own one they look pretty cool. 38mm and 42mm versions for the white and blue dial titanium ones.

All of them with exception of the 45mm PAM964 feature the P.900 Automatic movement. The 964 has the P.4002.

PAM1043 - 38mm Steel

PAM1046 - 42mm Steel

PAM1045 - 38mm Goldtech (Red Gold)

PAM926 - 38mm Brushed Titanium

PAM927 - 42mm Brushed Titanium

PAM964 - 45mm Brushed Titanium GMT

Thanks for sharing.

Shame that they're all still 30m water resistant. Might be considered a relatively minor point but surely they could work to beef up the WR given the response from the market. A PAM with such limited WR is like an 'Oyster' with only 30m... IMO

Makes the crown guard a fashion item as opposed to functionally relevant.

Another nope from me.
Panerai seems like it is set on destroying it's heritage, and therefore ruining itself as a brand.
Very sad.
Even more sad that my collection of Panerai have now become worth even less.

What Panerai does at its entry level doesn’t take away from their high end models that have nothing in common with them. The cam lock on the Due is like the difference of Rolex using a crown guard and larger crown on the GMT with only a 100M WR even though it looks exactly like a Subs divers triple seal 300m WR design.

Unlike Rolex, Panerai does not have a linear product line of watches. It’s a a multi tier system like other luxury watch brands.
This is like what MB does with the “A” class has nothing in common with the “S” class other than the same badge on the hood. Everyone knows the Due line is a huge mistake but thank god it’s quarantined from the rest of the high end line. Movements, dials, etc are all different for the Due line.

On pure looks, they are all nice, and the white dials are refreshingly different.

But.......Due.

This is why there is so few PAM112 on the secondary market... Panerai is deluting the brand, imho. On the other hand, I start to feel really good about my Panerai collection, with new watches like these, they will be retaining the value

This made me appreciate my older pams even more....

As I wrote in another forum,I see due as pseudo-panerai,however I hope they make and sell lots of them to the clueless masses merely to keep the company afloat...

I might try a 728 if I find one at a (really) good price though,I like the blue dial, titanium case and the simplicity

Wish they would stop it with these and make a revised model with some water resistance like a Panerai should be

Nothing wrong with these IMO-- there is a large segment of the population that doesn't want big bulky watches. The 42mm white one is kinda cool. My only argument is the price premium over some of the basic Panerai models.

I welcome all sizes and thicknesses. Provided they meet the minimum requirement to be a Panerai. Those are simple
1. Screw on caseback
1. 100m water rating.

38mm??

If they are targeting women, I think the appeal of Panerai for them is that they're large.

Panerai has split their watches into tiers to address three different price point of buyers like many luxury watch companies (except Rolex).

Well... Im new here... Just bought my first Panerai from a member on here and it gets delivered tomorrow. Very excited.

I think the Due line has a place. I don't see the problem in them expanding their offerings. I see a problem if this is what they offered en lieu of there other models.

I encourage any company to try to adapt. Sometimes you take a mistep... sometimes you hit a base hit... and sometimes its a home run.
