That’s a great response.

What do you mean by “these?” Are you referring to the watches or the men?

If watches ... these are rubber or resin bands on watches wore with suits during international conferences and negotiation tables at the highest level.

So, wearing a rubber strap on a Rolex or other under a suit for a mid level manager at some company in anywhere will be fine.

Go for it. I wear mine with a suit when I need to put one on !

With the proper watch strapped on, rubber with a suit can look very smart. The white gold daytona and rose gold yachtmaster would both look great with a suit in my opinion.

Suit, cufflinks and a rubber bracelet is a definite faux pas.
It just looks silly imho and I always silently giggle when I notice that thinking the wearer is just showing off and has no sense of etiquette at all.
Probably keeps his hat or cap on his head as well dining in a fine restaurant

I wear both my Explorer & SubC on black Everest rubber straps, business casual at work.

I think only 'ultra' luxury brand watches can get away with such scheme... I see Nautilus being worn on rubber with suit all the time.

I don't like to wear rubber strap with suit and tie; it catches on the cuff and makes tucking the watch inside the cuff difficult.

What if it’s not ultra luxury and they can’t get away with it?

What happens?
